Sometimes those bleeding,
Heal wounds in deep pain,
Sometimes those hearts ripping,
Fill someone’s void to remain.
Tears falling down in silence,
While laughing the loudest,
Feeling lost in the moment’s presence,
While helping to find those at darkest.
Standing as so-and-so’s shoulder,
Manifests a gesture of kindness,
But giving yourselves a love lesser,
Is near to living in nothingness.
Spread benevolence to others,
But leave something for your own,
Loving ourselves saves and matters,
Never abandon them all alone.
A reminder to love and care about ourselves too. Well written, Niel.🤩

Yes, it is. It’s okay to give someone a peso, but never ever give the whole possession you have just so you have something to get when you need it. Reserve something. Being selfish is good at times. Moreover, be true to yourself. If you’re struggling with something, help yourself first before extending your arms to others. Remember, you cannot give what you do not have. In the end, you only have one person- YOURSELF. Thank you, Gel.
